What
legal paperwork and licenses are required to build a wooden house
in Spain?
The construction
of a wood frame house is subject to the same laws as any other construction
in Spain. Although this has not always been so, the law now states
that it is irrespective of the construction methods used, which
types of licenses are required. We suggest you check with your local
town hall, the "Urbanismo" department, for particular
construction details in your area.
We work in conjunction with excellent architects, both Spanish and
foreign.

Can
wooden houses be insured?
Due to lack of legislation in Spain in relation to wooden houses,
it can be difficult to find an insurance company willing to insure
a wooden house. We work with several, mostly in Madrid who will do
it and at normal costs. Please contact

Can
a wooden house be financed or can a wooden house be mortgaged?
Yes. It is possible to finance a wooden house, although not all financial
entities do this due to the lack of legislation there is in Spain
in regards to wooden houses.

who do finance / mortgage wooden houses in Spain.

How
much does a wood frame house cost?
The cost of a wooden house depends on many factors, which finishes
the client wants, the complexity of the design, the terrain where
the house is to be built, and many others... Normally the value of
a finished house is between 850 and 1200 euros per covered meter.
This price excludes
the foundations of the house, which have to be quoted separately
based on the terrain where the house is to be built and the geotechnical
survey

Which
wood is used in the construction of a wood frame house?
The wood we use in the construction of our wooden houses are mainly
pines, most of which come from countries in east Europe and Scandinavia
where they are known for their good quality and durability. The wood
we use of class C18 and with humidity levels under 19%, the wood is
pressure treated and treated against humidity and fungus with FOBOS,
which at the same time protects it from fire.

What
is included in a wooden house?
Our houses come
'turn key', we construct both the structure of your house, complete
with water and electric installations, flooring and complete bathrooms,
any of which can be changed to accommodate clients wants and likes.
Also we construct foundations at client’s request.

Are
Water and Electric installations included?
In a wooden house, the pipes and wires of the electric and water systems
are in the walls, which we do at the stage of pre-fabrication in the
factory in Poland. These installations in wooden houses are slightly
different from those in a normal house but not more difficult. As
always, good planning eases the work.

Can
i design my own wooden house or do you sell only by catalogue?
Although we have over 60 designs at your disposal we acknowledge that
no one is the same and that we all have different likes and dislikes.
For these people who wish to design their own dream house, we work
with excellent architects, both Spanish and foreign.

How long does it take to build a wooden house?
For houses smaller than 100m², we normally calculate between
3 and 4 months, and 5 months for larger houses. This includes the
prefabrication of the modules, transport of the house to Spain and
it's assembly.
